Introduction

The Formula SAE, which debuted in 2005 in São Paulo, is traditional in foreign universities. It involves elaborating a project and building a formula-type competition vehicle, using engines of up to 610 cc, pursuant to the norms and regulations set forth by SAE International. The challenge allows students from Brazil’s main engineering schools to put the theory they learnt in the classrooms into practice.

In addition to engineering students, the competition is also aimed at future mobility professionals and enthusiasts from other segments, since the event is thrilling.
