Introduction
This is Petrobras’ oldest motor sports sponsorship. The company has been involved in this category for ten years, and this has contributed to testing our lubricants and fuels under extremely adverse conditions.
The Petrobras Lubrax Team, formed by Jean Azevedo and Rodolpho Mattheis (bike), João Franciosi and Lourival Roldan (car), André Azevedo and Maykel Justo (truck), compete in a few of the main rally events in Brazil and abroad, two of which merit highlighting: The Paris-Dakar Rally – in which it is the only one to participate in the three categories – and the International Rally of the Sertões. The former is the world’s most important and most dangerous, while the latter has been gaining increasing prestige in the international scenario at each edition.
