Resultados

  • Follow-up of cropping on family plots of land

  • In the area reserved for collective crops, the following have already been done: preparing the land (concluded, in partnership with Upanema town hall); building a fence and warehouse; procurement of beekeeping material, and irrigation.

  • Training financial administration, planting, beekeeping and other working groups.

  • A power network for supplying the motor-pump system implemented by the Light for Everyone Program of the federal government.

  • Completion of the irrigated crops project, including building the support warehouse, and implementing an electricity network to reach the entire productive area

  • Harvesting begun in the family plots of land for crops of sorghum, madre cacao and castor beans. The last bean crop is from EMBRAPA.

  • Implementation of organic beekeeping on a productive scale, and capture of bees (123 beehives).

  • Completion of training courses in agricultural-livestock farming techniques, encouraging cultural valorization, social organization and citizenship.

  • Valorization of the self-esteem of settled families, professional capacity building and improvement in the social relations between the different generations.

  • Obtained a valuable collection of technical and social-educational data on the projects undertaken.

  • Red tape overcome in the construction of a multi-institutional project.
Other contributions: INCRA/MDA, PDHC/MDA, EMBRAPA, Brazilian Environment Institute (IBAMA), Terra Livre Cooperative and FETARN; AQUONSULTE TWS Trucker (company providing services to Petrobras in the area of the well), which have provided their services for re-opening the well; EMATER, a donation of sorghum seeds; DNPE/MME, in implementing a power network.
