Watering the Earth Rural Settlements around the 1-BAN-1-RN (P. Mangue, Caraúbas and Serra do Mel, Rio Grande do Norte State) Petrobras and Incra will work together to provide water from the 1- BAN-1-RN well to settlement communities and country towns. The purpose is to extend the water supply and encourage agriculture and livestock farming in cooperatives and families in the towns of Porto do Mangue, Caraúbas and Serra do Mel, Rio Grande do Norte. More than 2800 inhabitants in settlements and country towns will benefit from the project. Other contributions: DNOCS/MIN, DNPE/MME (Light for Everyone), IBAMA/MMA, FETARN, SERHID/RN, FUNASA.
