Social Volunteers

This Petrobras Social Program module considers the corporate volunteer initiatives the company and its subsidiaries undertake to mobilize and potentialize the resources and skills the company and its employees have in an integrated and systemic basis, in line with Petrobras Zero Hunger Program's concept and guidelines.

In addition to alignment with the concept of development with citizenship, with guidelines, plan of action and lines of action of the Petrobras Zero Hunger Program, the actions of the Petrobras Zero Hunger Social Volunteers should be based on the understanding of the local reality where they are working, the public policies involved, and possible ways to alter them.

The capacity to understand the local reality, public policies and possible ways to alter them require actions by the alteractivity volunteer, such as the ability to include the other in the proposed change of reality; qualified requirement, such as the structuring of a process of listening to the three community sectors (public and business sectors, and civil society) in order to build a project of change and working solidarity, that is, the capacity to be aware of the suffering and requirements to be able to overcome them.
