Quality certifications

Petrobras Bolivia invests important amounts of resources in Quality, Safety, Environment and Health (QSEH) every year aiming at consolidating its management model, at reaching excellence in this area, and at improving its performance even more based on international quality & safety standards.

This policy allowed the company to maintain the certifications of its San Alberto and San Antonio assets and of the Gualberto Villarroel, Cochabamba, and Guillermo Elder Bell, Santa Cruz, refineries, recently sold to YPFB. These certifications were obtained based on international ISO 14001 (environment) and OHSAS 18001 (safety) norms. The two refineries also have SA 8000:2001 Social Responsibility certifications.

Petrobras Bolivia’s excellent performance in Quality, Safety, Environment and Health is accompanied by other units which have also been certified: Petrobras Bolivia Transportes (PBT) was certified based on the ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 norms; Petrobras Bolivia Distribución (PBD) maintained its certifications for Petrobras’ service stations (El Universitario, in Santa Cruz, and Kantutani, in La Paz) obtained based on the ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999 norms.
