Petrobras invites you to visit its Gateway and hereby informs you of the Terms and Conditions that regulate its use. The company considers that on using it you will be agreeing with these Terms and Conditions.
The contents of this Gateway are meant to offer to users of the Internet an institutional and informative panel that liaises with Petrobras.
Definitions
- Terms and conditions of use: rules established for using the Gateway;
- User: an individual or corporate entity, registered or not, who uses the Gateway and the links available there;

Petrobras is not responsible for the damages and losses of any nature that might originate in the use of the Gateway and its services in the manner described above.
The User
The user will be responsible for the damage and losses of any nature that Petrobras comes to suffer as a result of failure to comply with any of the obligations to which the user is submitted by means of these Terms and General Conditions of Use.
Using the Gateway and its links
Under no hypothesis will Petrobras be responsible for the use of its Gateway or the access to links indicated therein, as well as acts practiced by users based on information obtained from the Gateway and links. Petrobras is neither responsible for the contents nor the privacy policies and practices of the sites that indicate our Gateway and those indicated by us.
Notice to shareholders, investors and potential investors
The information on the Petrobras System contained in this Gateway by no means constitutes an invitation to investors nor is it meant to serve as a basis for decisions about financial investments, whether made by individuals or corporate entities.
The contents of the Gateway is provided for the sole purpose of informing, and no contents included in the Gateway serve for commercial reasons or investments.

PETROBRAS IS EXEMPT FROM ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES AND DAMAGE OF ANY NATURE THAT MIGHT BE DUE TO LACK OF AVAILABILITY OR CONTINUITY OF THE FUNCTIONING OF THE GATEWAY AND SERVICES; DEFRAUDATION BY USE THAT USERS MIGHT ATRIBUTE TO THE GATEWAY AND SERVICES, FALLIBILITY OF THE GATEWAY AND SERVICES, AND IN PARTICULAR THOUGH NOT EXCLUSIVELY, IS EXEMPT FROM THE FLAWS IN ACCESSING THE VARIOUS WEBPAGES OF THE GATEWAY OR THOSE TO WHICH SERVICES ARE PROVIDED.
Exclusion of guarantees and responsibility - contamination by virus and the like:
Petrobras does not control or guarantee the absence of viruses or any other elements in the contents that might produce alterations to its information technology system (software and hardware) or in the electronic documents and files stored in its information technology system.
PETROBRAS IS EXEMPT FROM ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES AND DAMAGE OF ANY NATURE THAT CAN BE ATTRIBUTED TO THE PRESENCE OF VIRUSES OR ANY OTHER ELEMENTS IN THE CONTENTS THAT MIGHT PRODUCE ALTERATIONS TO THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM, ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS OR REGISTRATION OF USERS.
Copyright and intellectual property
This Gateway contains texts, photographs, images and sound that are protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights. These rights belong to Petrobras or were granted under license by the holders, so that Petrobras can make use of such material as part of this Gateway.
On accessing the Petrobras page, the user declares that he/she will respect all the intellectual and industrial property rights, those resulting from protection of trademarks, as well as all the rights referring to third parties that may in some form be or have been available on the Gateway. Simple access to the Gateway does not grant the user any right to use names, titles, words, phrases, marks, patents, and literary, artistic and literary-musical works, among others, that are or were available therein.
All the trademarks included in this Gateway are the property of Petrobras or were granted to it under license or authorization of the holders to be used in this Gateway.
Reproduction of the contents described above is prohibited, except by prior written authorization by Petrobras or if they are meant exclusively for personal use and without the user under any circumstances acquiring any right to same.
It is allowed only to make a temporary file of this Gateway, but its use is forbidden for commercial or advertising purposes or any other purpose at variance with the reality for which it was conceived, as defined in this Term. It is likewise prohibited to reproduce, distribute and divulge in part or whole the texts, figures and graphs that comprise this Gateway, without prior express authorization of Petrobras. It is permitted only to print copies for personal use and files, without separating the parts that allow for faithful and true understanding of the contents and objective.
The user assumes each and every responsibility of a civil a/or criminal nature for the undue use of the information, texts, graphs, marks, works, in fact all and any intellectual and industrial property rights of this Gateway.
Modifications of these Terms and Conditions
Petrobras reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions of Use unilaterally at any moment. On navigating on this Gateway, you accept to be guided by the Terms and Conditions in effect as of this date, and should therefore verify them in advance every time you visit this Gateway.

Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions of Use are ruled by the legislation of the Brazilian Republic. Users of the Petrobras Gateway are liable to the Central Forum of the Region of the Capital of the State of Rio de Janeiro, to the exclusion of any other, no matter how qualified it may be.
