Care in the Distribution
Distribution, from well to filling-station,
takes place from bases spread throughtout the country, from storage points in airports,
by sea, rail and road means of transport, and from a great number of reselling
outlets
Petrobras Distribuidora S.A.(BR), the Petrobras subsidiary in charge of
this work, markets about 350 items, mainly fuels and lubricants, bound for
all parts of the country.
BR operates a lubricant plant and distributes products to
6,500 filling-stations and 7,000 factories. It employs state-of-the-art technology
and abides by strict standards of quality, thus ensuring that its business also takes
place safely and with proper regard for the surrounding environment.
This guarantee is achieved by top quality products and by varization of its employees
who receive the training needed to enable them to handle production, quality, safety
and environmental matters with the same degree of attention.
