Offshore Precautions
Alarm System
The alarm system can be activated by an individual or a company,
member or non-member of this Emergency Plan, who is informed of the
occurrence of an oil and/or byproduct spill in Guanabara Bay. Information
on how to notify the various members about the spill is given in item 8.
Once the plan goes into action, the emergency combat actions will
start according to the duties of each member and the coordination
structure of response to the spill.
