PETROBRAS produces low sulfur green coke in two grades: anode and fuel. The anode grade, after been calcined, is used mainly as raw material in the aluminum industry, in the production of carbon dioxide and also as recarburizer in the specialty and cast steel industry. The fuel grade is used as energy source mainly in the cement, lime, paper and cellulose industry and powe generation.

This product attends to the National Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuel Agency (NPA) specifications, which are unique to the Brazilian market and have different equivalencies for the other countries.
