Petrobras’ Winter Diesel was developed with state-of-the-art Petrobras technology to reach the degree of performance that is required for the Country regions with temperatures of up to -5ºC. Appropriate for vehicles and equipment that needs to operate in areas where there are temperatures below zero degree Celsius, the Winter Diesel allows quick engine startups and does away with the need to use any other additive or mix that may compromise its good operation.

Launched in the winter of 2004, Petrobras’ Winter Diesel is produced at the Alberto Pasqualini Refinery (REFAP) and, initially, it was marketed in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, from May to September. The sale is made under demand for corporate customers, and as of 2006, it will be done at a few Petrobras service stations that are certified by the “Keeping an Eye on the Fuel Program.”
