PIFCo was created in 1997 in order to facilitate the import of crude oil and oil products. PIFCo's primary purpose is to act as an intermediary between third-party oil suppliers and us by engaging in petroleum purchases, sales and financings. PIFCo's operations are reflected in our corporate, supply and exploration and production segments.
